It’s Not Bragging if Others Say It
“Matt was recommended to us by a friend. From the first meeting, he established a great working relationship with E. Matt was able to motivate, encourage and “gently nudge” E to want to prepare and do his best on the SAT. Matt’s ability to have E take ownership of the studying process proved to be a success when on first test, our son was able to bring his score up 290 points from his practice test! We have and will continue to recommend Matt to anyone looking for a test prep tutor.”
“I have used other tutors before Matt for test prep, and I just wish I had found him earlier. He was a tremendous help, easy to get along with, and gave extremely helpful explanations. I highly recommend!!!”
“Matt worked with our son in preparing him for the ACT. They built a great partnership and our son genuinely enjoyed working with Matt. Matt had the right level of being supportive and encouraging while also pushing for better results along the way. His style and approach resonated well. We have already recommended him to other friends of our and he is now about to start working with our daughter. There is a reason his moniker is “The Friendly Tutors”! :)”
“From since I was little, I’ve hated math and science. I knew that when I was going to take the ACT, it was going to be a struggle to get these scores up. I worked with Matt for about a month and a half during the summer, and not only did I begin to enjoy math and science more, but he helped get my scores up tremendously. My math score increased by 11 points, and my science score by 7. Overall, he was able to help me get my ACT score up by 10 points all together from when I took the pre-ACT my sophomore year. He was a tremendous help and will help you reach your goals!!”
“Matt has been extremely helpful with studying for my SAT. He helped me improve in all aspects of the test. I would recommend him to anyone who is taking the SAT or ACT.”

How Individualized Education Can Boost Confidence and Inspire a Love of Learning
A student's lack of confidence often has less to do with their actual abilities than with being taught in a way that does not match their individual learning style. Private tutors can adapt their teaching styles to the needs of individual students, thereby boosting confidence and even inspiring a new love of learning.
SAT or ACT: Which Test Is Right For You?
When choosing between the SAT and the ACT, the most important thing to keep in mind is that the two tests are ultimately quite similar.
